Twenty anti-traffic camera activists torch a pair of cameras in Athens, Greece.
A group of twenty unidentified individuals armed with Molotov cocktails assaulted and destroyed a pair of traffic cameras in Athens, Greece. The devices, located in the Exarchia neighborhood, were destroyed around noon Friday.
The number of anti-camera incidents is on the rise in the Greek capital. In March, another pair of cameras were set on fire. Many of the destroyed cameras, initially installed during the 2004 Olympic Games, have been quickly replaced.
